Examples:

+2 to one ability score and +1 to another or +1 to three separate ability scores
Medium Your size is medium

  • Your speed is 30ft
  • You gain proficiency in one skill and one artisan's tool of your choice.
  • Momentum Dodge If you are currently limbless (without your thaumecha or other prosthetics), and you moved at least 10 feet on your previous turn, you may spend a reaction to move up to 10 feet when targeted by an attack. If this movement takes you out of range of a melee attack, that attack misses you and is wasted; if it is against a ranged attack, you gain a bonus to your armor class against that attack equal to your proficiency bonus. After using this ability, your speed becomes 0 until the end of your next turn.
  • Prehensile Tail Your tail is capable of holding objects and performing simple manipulations, allowing you to do so easily even if you do not otherwise have limbs. It is also strong enough to hold your body weight plus a number of pounds equal to 5 * your constitution score.
  • Song Magic You are proficient in performance and singing (musical instrument). As a bonus action, you may begin singing, maintaining this song as if concentrating on a spell. At any point while you are singing, an ally may spend a reaction to gain a d4 inspiration die to a saving throw, attack roll, or ability check. Once an ally has done so, they may not gain inspiration from your song again until they complete a short or long rest.
You may also spend a use of this ability to ignore the somatic components of any art, invocation, or spell you cast while singing.
  • Thaumechanical Modifications As part of becoming one of the Bastion's followers, your limbs were removed and replaced with mechanical prosthetics. These prosthetics grant you a +1 increase to your armor class. Your limbs are a part of you as any equipped item would be, but sometimes they can be directly targeted by some effects (these will state outright if that is the case). For such occasions that an effect might damage your limbs, your arms have hit points equal to your total number of hit dice plus your proficiency bonus, and your legs have hit points equal to twice your total number of hit dice, plus your proficiency bonus. When your limbs take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, roll 1d6-3, and subtract the result from the damage taken; your limbs have resistance to energy damage.
Your thaumecha may be repaired through magic, or by spending a health die over the course of a short or long rest (separate from your hit points, though this healing may be split between the limbs at your choosing).
Your thaumecha is removable, though only if you are willing (or destroyed). If you are rendered limbless for whatever reason, your speed is only reduced to 20ft instead of 5ft, and you are able to wield light or one-handed weapons with which you are proficient even without hands to hold them.

Song Magic

  • Blessing Song – (Song magic improves to a d6, and adds number of times a creature may benefit between rests by your racial level)
  • Healing Song – If you maintain your song for at least 3 rounds, you may end it as an action to heal allies that can hear you within 30 feet for hit point damage equal to 2d8 + your charisma modifier. This healing increases by +1d8 at 3rd racial level, and again at 5th racial level. Once a creature has benefited from your healing song, they may not do so again until they complete a long rest.
    • Healing Song, Improved – Creatures may benefit from your healing song twice before needing to complete a long rest to do so again.
  • Lullaby – (Song can cause a number of creatures to save vs drowsiness, concentrating for 3 rounds causes drowsy creatures to fall asleep. Number of creatures equals prof + racial level, resetting on long rest)
  • Marching Song – (Increases overland travel speed and time between checks vs forced march by +20%)
  • Striking Song – While singing, you may make attacks with your song as if it were a melee weapon with which you are proficient, using your charisma score for attack and damage rolls. Your song magic has a reach of 15ft and deals 1d4 thunder damage, increasing to 1d6 at 7th level, and again to 1d8 at 13th level. You may also apply a martial echo to your song magic, ignoring weapon types, but the FP cost for using that echo increases by +1. The FP cost is not increased if the martial echo deals thunder damage, targets yourself, or is meant for use with arts or song magic.
    • Musical Lance – (Requires Striking Song) While singing, you may spend an action and 1 FP to store 1 charge for musical lance. As an action, you may spend all of your charges to make a single attack with your striking song. For each charge stored, you roll two additional weapon dice, and increase the range of striking song by +15 ft. You may store a total number of charges equal to 1 + your proficiency bonus.

Thaumechanical Improvements

  • Auto-repair – Your thaumecha limbs each heal 1 hit point whenever you complete a short rest, and 4 hit points when you complete a long rest.
  • Auto-retrieval – You may attach your thaumecha to yourself without assistance, and if your limbs are not currently attached to you or another creature, you may spend an action to cause any number of them to move up to 30 feet toward you (they may move around creatures and obstacles at your discretion).
  • Extra Customization – (can take multiple times; gain an additional thaumecha customization known and active, separate from any class features)
  • Improved Integration – While your thaumecha is equipped, you may use your constitution score in place of your strength score for determining your carrying capacity. In addition, you may choose to use your constitution modifier in place of your strength modifier when making an ability check or attack roll a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus plus your racial level. You regain all expended uses of this ability after you complete a long rest.
    • Advanced Integration – While your thaumecha is equipped, you may use your constitution modifier in place of your strength modifier when making any roll or check.
  • Tough Thaumecha – The AC bonus provided by your thaumecha increases by +1, and the hit points for your thaumecha limbs increases by +3 each for your arms, and by +5 each for your legs.
