Invocation

Invocations require a skill check to use properly, though if you fail a check, you may concentrate and attempt to finish the cast on the following turn (may be done multiple times, to a maximum of your proficiency bonus) without increasing the skill DC to do so. Casting an invocation (including failing to properly cast it) increases the check DC by the indicated amount for future casting attempts, resetting once you complete a long rest.

Aegis Renewal (white)

A prayer to renew your protective powers, you recoup the magical energy by reciting your oath as a Barrier.

Religion, DC10, +5 – 1 minute cast time. Upon completing the casting of this invocation, you regain aegis points equal to your cantrip die (up to your maximum aegis points).
Perfected: For every 5 you beat the cast DC by, you recover additional aegis points equal to your proficiency bonus. On a natural 20, you recover additional aegis points equal to your cantrip dice.

Bastion Plate (red)

You mimic the crafters of the Bastion, shaping the alien material into a protective suit of armor around yourself.

Any Artisan's Tools, DC14, +2 – 1 action cast time, requires the artisan tools as a focus. Upon casting this invocation, you are surrounded by a suit of plate made of bastionite. For 10 minutes, your armor class cannot be lower than 18. This magical plate does not hinder you in any way, though it does replace any armor or clothing you are currently wearing for the duration. Afterward, it fades and disappears completely, returning any armor or clothing you were wearing before.
Perfected: For every 5 you beat the cast DC by, you gain +1 temporary hit points that renew at the start of each of your turns for the duration.

Brilliance (white)

You recite tales of Lucuhael's shining blade, and how it's light alone was enough to banish her foes.

Religion, DC12, +1 – 1 action cast time. Upon casting this invocation, you exude brilliant light in a 20 foot radius from yourself. Creatures of your choice within this light take 3d8 points of radiant damage unless they succeed on a constitution saving throw. This light is natural light, and creatures that fail their saving throw are blinded until the end of your next turn. Each time you cast Brilliance, the radiant damage it deals is reduced by 1d8, resetting to normal once you complete a long rest. Perfected: For every 4 you beat the cast DC by, Brilliance deals +1d8 radiant damage. On a natural 20, it ignores the reduction from multiple casts, and deals double damage.

Create Shikigami (green)

Using a special ritual, you create a servant out of various raw materials, potentially even living ones.

None; Requires instead 5 hl in materials to perform – 10 minute cast time. (Create a special companion, or turn a creature into your companion. May only have one shikigami at a time.)

Guardian's Aura (white)
???, DC??, +? – 1 action cast time. (not sure what this should do)

Hidden Paths (white)

Reciting a prayer to the greenmother to meet you halfway with a miracle, your own skill is just as important as her aid.

Stealth, DC (8 + 2X), +X – 1 action cast time. Hidden Paths may be used in one of the following ways when cast, based on your proficiency bonus. The chosen option also determines the cast DC and amount by which the cast DC increments.

  • Proficiency +2 - Hiding Hole: You create an area that's bigger on the inside than on the outside, allowing you and your companions to rest safely for up to 1 hour, and you cannot be detected by anything but magical means.
  • Proficiency +3 - Safe Passage: You and creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you when you cast hidden paths gain a bonus to stealth checks, cannot be tracked by anything but magical means, and leave no trace of their passage. This effect lasts for as long as you concentrate, up to 1 hour.
  • Proficiency +4 - Shadow Tunnel: (Dimension Door, but it's a portal and creatures can travel through it for a brief time)
  • Proficiency +5 - Homeward Hall: (Long distance teleport to a designated point, "home")

Perfected: If you roll a natural 20 on the casting check, the cast DC does not increase.

Inevitable Strike (red)

In your daily meditation, you foresaw an event... Though you do not remember the specifics until you find yourself at the exact moment you need to.

Insight, DC13, +6 – Bonus action cast time. Until the end of your current turn, you gain a +5 bonus to the next attack roll you make.
Perfected: For every 4 you beat the cast DC by, the bonus granted increases by +1. If you roll a natural 20 on the casting check, your attack is automatically a critical hit if you also beat the cast DC.

Greenmother's Gift (red)
3 Uses – 1 action cast time. You may invoke the greenmother's gift in one of the following ways.

  • Greenmother's Anger: You may target a point you can see within 30 feet of you. Creatures of your choice within 15 feet of that point must make a dexterity saving throw or take piercing damage equal to your cantrip die and become restrained for 1 minute, or until they take an action to make another saving throw against the effect. A creature that begins its turn restrained by greenmother's anger takes piercing damage equal to your focus die.
  • Greenmother's Kiss: You may touch a creature and heal it for an amount equal to your cantrip die plus your casting ability modifier.
  • Greenmother's Lash: You may make a melee spell attack against a creature you can see within 30 feet. On a hit, you deal Pd8 piercing damage, and you pull the creature 10 feet closer to you if it is large or smaller.
  • Greenmother's Vision: For 10 minutes, you gain a +5 bonus to your passive perception and to investigate and perception skill checks.

Sparks of the Bastion (red)
(?? uses; lightning damage on a target, leaps to smaller targets close by)

Vampiric Strike (black)
(?? uses; short ranged spell attack, deal necrotic damage and heal self based on damage dealt.)

Vigorous Force (white)
5 Uses – Bonus action cast time. You may roll your focus die and add your proficiency bonus, gaining this amount as temporary hit points.
