Class Abilities
- Disengage (C-) – aeiou
- Independent Action (D) – Lancer is capable of moving further away from her Master than other Servants, increasing the range by 20%. She may also function without a mana source for upward of 3 days.
Personal Abilities
- Angelic Essence (C) – The holy power present within an angel. Gossipers may be lesser angels, but still possess a full array of abilities that put them on par with heroic mortals just through that alone.
- Divinity Nullification (B) – A gossiper's icons and abilities ignore any defenses based on divinity, and a gossiper is immune to any effects, items, or terrain conditions created by a euxovore's Authority. Due to the circumstances of the summoning, this effect is reduced, and instead lowers the rank by two step rather than ignores.
- Protection of Faith (A++)
Noble Phantasms
- Angelic Veil – The true armor of a gossiper, protecting them from the environment and harmful magic alike. Any planar effects are negated, such as the heat of the plane of fire, or the immense gravity of another planet, and the veil provides breathable air even when no atmosphere is available. The wearer of such a veil is also blessed against the effects of poisons and harmful magic, and a spell of three verses or less is outright negated by this veil if cast by an evil creature.
- Holy Blade – An arming sword, fairly plain in experience other than the silvery sheen to the blade. A gossiper's holy blade can be made to leave no injury other than a lingering pain. It can also slice through any evil enchantment protecting a foe, and sever the hold of undead or fiends upon mortal minds.
- Three Bannered Spear – A well-crafted, but ordinary looking spear, with three thin banners upon it. The spear itself can pierce through the hide of nearly any fiend (being treated as A rank against such creatures), but is otherwise unremarkable in function. However, each banner of the spear has its own use, though each may only be used once. Once all three banners have been invoked, the spear loses its special properties against fiends, though it does remain a potent enough holy weapon to serve as a focus or to fulfil other requirements.
- The Red banner can be invoked and wrapped around a fallen creature, healing any wound inflicted upon them, and even resurrecting the dead (so long as they fell in battle and willing choose to return). If the creature is cursed to never be healed, then instead the red banner will negate any curse below C rank, with no limit against an evil curse. The red banner may also be wrapped around a healthy creature, granting them invulnerability at rank D for a single day.
- The White banner can be invoked to envelop their allies (up to 144 people) in a protective veil. This veil can last for up to 10 minutes, and will cancel out any anti-army icons of rank D or less without losing effectiveness, and can fully cancel out such an icon of up to rank B, though it will dissipate upon doing so. Against evil icons, it will not fade even against A rank unless it specifically destroys protective effects, and even then, it will still negate the other effects of the attack.
- The Green banner can be invoked by placing it upon the ground, where it will soon grow into a large tree, purifying the earth surrounding it, and ensuring the soil will be fertile for decades afterward. These holy trees have branches that can be harvested after the trees have fully matured, and used to make magical weapons with strong holy or purifying properties. These banners are typically used to establish footholds in areas defiled by dark magics, undead, blights, or fiends, readily absorbing such desecrations and converting it into enery more amenable to mortal life.
- Alternatively, one or more banners may be invoked while the spear is thrust or thrown, turning it into a powerful holy curse that can instantly slay a fiend it pierces. Each banner sacrificed increases the rank of the attack by a step, and doubles the damage dealt as the holy energies mingle and erupt. The spear itself is destroyed upon using this particular ability, unable to fully contain the power released in its use.
