ArCieloA large, roughly circular heighliner bearing a tower in the center, filled with crystals of various types. The Tower can bestow the power of its crystals to those that know the proper codes and can invoke strong enough feelings or desires to it, allowing the use of magic without physically holding a crystal. This technique typically takes a while to use, though it can have surprisingly strong effects. Ar Cielo considers itself its own canton. The population is fairly small, and supports itself with hydroponics and trading. This heighliner is thought to be part of the original Invasion fleet, perhaps a transport ship that was repaired. Invader technology can sometimes be found here, although the heighliner itself does not seem to be able to leave the counterclockwise Stream. Strangely, more than 4/5ths of the children born to mothers that lived mostly upon Ar Cielo are born female. (Stereotype: Laputa) |
